Habitat management for the endangered Stephens' kangaroo rat: The effect of mowing and grazing
Article Abstract:
Stephensi' kangaroo rat 'Dipodomys stephensi' is monitored on 10 permanent trapping grids over a 4-year period from late 1996 through late 2000. The data strongly support the utility of mowing or grazing by sheep for improving the suitability of non-native grasslands for Dipodomys stephensi.
