Height depends on month of birth
Article Abstract:
There are links between birth month and the height of human males aged 18-years-old, as is shown by a study of 507,125 males. The research uses data from the Austrian Federal Army, and has implications for research into melatonin and the pineal gland. There is a difference of 0.6 cm between the minumina in fall and the maxima in spring. Conditions in late pregnancy may affect height, as well as conditions after birth, since growth in most rapid during the three months prior to birth as well as the three months afterwards.
