Hidden magnetism and quantum criticality in the heavy fermion superconductor CeRhln(sub 5)
Article Abstract:
Specific-heat measurements of the pressure-tuned unconventional superconductor CeRhIn(sub 5) are described in which a line of quantum-phase transitions induced inside the superconducting state by an applied magnetic field is found. This quantum-critical line separates a phase of coexisting antiferromagnetism and superconductivity from a purely unconventional superconducting phase and terminates at a quantum critical point where the magnetic field surpasses superconductivity.

Direct observation of second-order atom tunneling
Article Abstract:
The direct, time-resolved observations of the correlated tunneling of two interacting ultracold atoms through a barrier in a double-well potential are presented. Second-order tunneling events have formed the basis of superexchange interactions between atoms on neighboring lattice sites of a periodic potential, which is a central component of proposals for realizing quantum magnetism.

Free fermion antibunching in a degenerate atomic Fermi gas released from an optical lattice
Article Abstract:
The direct observation of antibunching of neutral fermionic atoms is reported. The results have demonstrated the antibunching of free neutral fermionic atoms by using a degenerate single component Fermi gas released from a three-dimensional optical lattice potential.
