High-level chemokine receptor expression in FlP-In CHO cells
Article Abstract:
Invitrogen's Flp-In System in Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells was employed in an attempt to generate a user-friendlier cell culture system that would require far fewer cells expressing receptors at extremely high levels. It was found that under proper conditions, isogenic stable cell lines could be expediently generated with as little as two weeks continued selection with Hygromycin B.

Nicotine reinforcement and cognition restored by targeted expression of nicotinic receptors
Article Abstract:
The molecular mechanisms involved in nicotine reinforcement and cognition is a priority that requires the development of new in vivo experimental paradigms is identified. The findings demonstrate the sufficient role of the VTA in both nicotine reinforcement and endogenous cholinergic regulation of cognitive functions.
