Animal rights advocates are painfully aware of the amount of animals butchered for Christmas festivities. They find such treatment of animals ironic especially since Jesus Christ, as told in the New Testament, chose to be born in a barn in the company of farm animals.

Was Jesus a vegetarian?

Worse than death
Article Abstract:
Euthanasia for animals that are suffering from excruciating pain is one instance when the practice can be tolerated. The moral argument is that since animals are innocent beings, they can never be redeemed through pain and suffering.
