Hurricane link to climate change is hazy
Article Abstract:
Studies suggesting that destructive hurricanes such as Katrina will become more common in a warmer world have become a matter of debate in the research community, which states that the studies highlight the limited knowledge about the physics of hurricane formation. An attempt is made to investigate how oceans interact with the atmosphere in different parts of the world to determine why natural fluctuations favor different hurricane patterns in different ocean basins.
