Intensified deep Pacific inflow and ventilation in Pleistocene glacial times
Article Abstract:
Sediment records built up under the influence of the deep western boundary current east of New Zealand have been used to reconstruct deep-water characteristics and speed changes during the Pleistocene epoch. This research indicates glacial-interglacial variability in the strength and water-mass properties of the inflow to the southwest Pacific.

Warm tropical sea surface temperatures in the Late Cretaceous and Eocene epochs
Article Abstract:
Research describing warm sea surface temperatures during the Late Cretaceous and Eocene epochs is presented. In particular data from formanifera shells is examined that bring into question the validity of previous studies that suggest relatively cool surface temperatures.

Atmospheric carbon dioxide concentrations over the past 60 million years
Article Abstract:
Boron-isotope methods are used to estimate the pH of surface-layer sea water during the last 60 million years in an experiment designed to reconstruct atmospheric CO2 concentrations.
