Interruption of and harassment during copulation by stumptail macaques, Macaca arctoides
Article Abstract:
The characteristics of Macaca arctoides (stumptail macaques) who participated in harassment during copulation are described. Results show that copulatory interruption is performed only by high-ranking males and directed at lower-ranking males as a mechanism for reproductive competition. Moreover, harassment is directed toward high-ranking individuals and is performed by females. Lastly, further researches are needed to yield more information on harassment in M. arctoides.

Agonistic relationships and sexual behavior patterns in male guppies, Poecilia reticulata
Article Abstract:
Male guppies regulate their aggressive and sexual behavior according to social conditions, their resemblance to others and the behavior of other males. Reintroduction of alpha males suppresses the sigmoid behavior of the beta male indicating high sigmoid behavior rates amongst resident males. Female choice is important in mediating sexual behavior in guppies as they initially show aggressive behavior towards unfamiliar males.

Interfering in affiliations: sabotaging by stumptailed Macaques, Macaca arctoides
Article Abstract:
The disruption of affiliative interactions by Macaques is studied by observing the behavior of three groups of caged Macaques. Interference rates are graphed by type of disruption and the type of behavior that was disturbed.
