Jet-like features near the nucleus of Chiron
Article Abstract:
Observations of the cometary object, 2060 Chiron, during a stellar occultation reveals that its coma consists of discrete, jet-like features. The presence of these jet-like features indicates that only a few, small active regions have provided the material to form the coma. The particles in the jet-like features have a radii greater than 0.25 micrometers while Chiron has a radius in the range of 83 to 156 kilometers.

A giant planet orbiting the 'extreme horizontal branch' star V391 Pegasi
Article Abstract:
A new giant planetary-mass body has been discovered to be orbiting around the extreme horizontal branch star, V391 Pegasi. The study proves that the planets with very less orbital distances can easily survive the red-giant expansion of their parent stars.

The one that got away
Article Abstract:
The scientists have recently discovered a new massive gas giant planet orbiting an old star in a rare, late stage of the star's evolution. The analysis helps in studying the diverse array of the planetary systems in our, as well as neighboring galaxies.
