Negotiations on Kyoto II are due to begin at the eleventh meeting of the parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change in Montreal in November 2005. Parameters for determining the course of climate change and the concentration of green house gases are some of the major cases that are going to be considered for Kyoto II agreement.

The blame game: Who will pay for the damaging consequences of climate change?
Article Abstract:
The study considers how much human influence on climate could be to blame for the southern European summer heatwave 2003. It concluded that the immediate cause of the heatwave was a persistent anticyclone over northwest Europe but no one could sensibly claim that greenhouse gases caused that particular anticyclone.

Church joins crusade over climate change
Article Abstract:
Prominent US evangelical Christians have signed the 'Evangelical Climate Initiative' calling for mandatory limits on green-house-gas emissions. For many evangelicals, the climate-induced sea level is seen as having moral dimensions, and it is a biblical and moral imperative to respond to the growing crisis.
