Lifting the taboo on adaptation
Article Abstract:
The reports of the Stern Review on the Economics of Climate Change and the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) have given reasons for not enforcing the adaptation of climate policy. Adaptation should be made institutionalized at a level of intensity and investment so that climate impacts will mount intense, regardless of even the most effective cuts in greenhouse-gas emissions.
