Magnetic manipulations
Article Abstract:
Scientists have devised a new technique, which uses the probe of a scanning tunneling microscope to position manganese atoms at will in lattice positions on a gallium arsenide surface. The technique would pave the way of accomplishing the ambitious goal of creating new breeds of device, such as chips that integrate logic and storage.
