Measures of libido and their relation to serving capacity in the ram
Article Abstract:
A study was done to determine whether measures of libido are interrelated with ejaculation rate, the results of which will be used to estimate mating potential under conditions wherein copulation is to be avoided. Results from exposure of sexually experienced rams with varying sexual libido to estrous ewes show that these "serving capacity" tests can be used by breeders to assess the mating potential of rams before their use in a breeding program.

Energy-based carrying capacity for quails
Article Abstract:
An energy-based model for carrying capacity of quails is presented and applications for the model in wildlife management are suggested. The carrying capacity model can be used to estimate the usefulness of food management on a particular area and also to provide decision-support information for management planning.
