More evidence for hobbit unearthed as diggers are refused access to cave
Article Abstract:
Researchers at the Liang Bua cave have uncovered more details about the ancient 'hobbit' of Indonesia as findings reveal that the meter-tall humans, known as Homo floresiensis, lived on the island of Flores as little as 12,000 years ago. They argue that the bones are of a genetically deformed Homo sapiens in a condition called microcephaly, which could cause dwarfism and explain the miniature brain.

Blast in the past?
Article Abstract:
A group of scientists will be presenting a research data in Acapulco, Mexico, on 24 May 2007. This suggests that a big space rock exploded on or above North America at the end of the last ice age, thus causing temperatures to plunge for the next millennium.
