Nucleosynthesis of (11)B-rich boron in the pre-solar cloud recorded in meteoritic chondrules
Article Abstract:
Ion-probe measurements of B11/B10 ratio in meteoritic chondrules with considerable variations on correlation with the boron and beryllium concentrations reveals a new process of boron and beryllium formation in the universe. The new process is entirely different from the conventional process of B-11 rich boron formation process predicted by the various models of chemical evolution of the Galaxy. The new process involves the formation boron in the pre-solar clouds by collisions occurring between interstellar helium and hydrogen with cosmic rays.

Evaporation in the young solar nebula as the origin of 'just-right' melting of chondrules
Article Abstract:
Research is presented concerning the isothermal melting of a a chondritic composition which exists at nebular pressures. The stabilization of porphyritic textures by evaporation is discussed.

An X-ray outburst from the rapidly accreting young star that illuminates McNeil's nebula
Article Abstract:
Observations of X-ray imaging spectroscopy from a young star that illuminates McNeil's nebula are reported. The observations reveal a factor ~ 50 increase in the X-ray flux from a young star.
