OBITUARY: F. Clark Howell (1925-2007)

Palaeoanthropologist F. Clark Howell was the main architect and prime mover of the multidisciplinary study of human evolution. Howell brought his unique combination of knowledge, wisdom and generosity to bear in steadfast advocacy of the developing science of human evolution and his achievements and published work will be lastingly influential.
