Occurrence of moths in boreal forest corridors
Article Abstract:
Moths with baited traps were collected to investigate their occurrence and abundance in four-habitat types-forest interior, forest edge, forested corridors, and clearcuts along riparian zones. The results show that moth abundance was as high in elongated, riparian-strip corridors as in forest interiors and no tradeoff necessarily exists.

Responses by breeding birds to heterospecific song and mobbing call playbacks under varying predation risk
Article Abstract:
Breeding willow tit and redwing birds are studied for their reaction to recorded song, mobbing calls, and classical music played back near a sparrowhawk nest. Birds were most interested in the mobbing calls.
