Article Abstract:
United States grows more than half of the world's genetically engineered crops monitored by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), the Environmental Protection Agency and the Food and Drug Administration. Since few cases of these unapproved genetically engineered crops getting mixed with human consumption ones are noted the USDA has revised its environmental standards but it is believed that tougher regulations do not give 100% guarantee of confinement.

A breed apart
Article Abstract:
The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) will be releasing a draft risk assessment on the use of cloned livestock for food by the end of 2006. The cost of cloning and the lack of efficiency in the process will keep the number of clones relatively small and preclude people from eating it.
