Article Abstract:
China's approach to patents is undergoing a sharp transition and it is rapidly developing a strong commitment to intellectual property. The legal infrastructure is among the best in the world, and the patent office there delivers patents of good quality and reasonable cost, its intellectual-property law is updated and the State Intellectual Property Office in Beijing has hired hundred of examiners since the country joined the World Trade Organization in 2001.
