Putting resource dynamics into continuous input ideal free distribution models
Article Abstract:
An ideal free distribution model was presented to explain habitat selection behavior in animals. The model considered the effect of availability of resources, competition and predation on the distribution of resources within the habitat. It suggested that input matching is dependent on exploitation and prey mortality, unless interference such as competition for crops or resources within the patch is very strong. It also suggests that continuous input in the habitat is affected by the depletion and consumption of standing crops.

High-tide habitat choice: insights from modelling roost selection by shorebirds around a tropical bay
Article Abstract:
Logistic regression models and bounds-based models were used to determine the selection of roosts by shore birds during high tide. An experimental study was conducted with great knots (Calidris tenuirostris) and red knots (Calidris canutus) on an Australia coastline.

Learning to inhibit prepotent responses: Successful performance by rhesus macaques, Macaca mulatta, on the reversed-contingency task
Article Abstract:
The study reassessed the ability of macaque monkeys to learn the standard reversed-contingency task. The findings show that macaque monkeys can master reversed-contingency task.
