Rapid Homogenization of multiple sources: genetic structure of a recolonizing population of fishers
Article Abstract:
The current genetic structure of fisher population in an area of southern Ontario which has recently recolonized was examined. Results concluded that Algonquin Park fisher population has not been a substantial source for recolonization, expansion, but occurred from a number of remnant populations within Ontario, Quebec, and recently from Adirondacks in New York.

Evaluating detection probabilities for American marten in the Black Hills, South Dakota
Article Abstract:
The present-absent data from a track-plate survey was used to derive detection probabilities when American marten occurred at high- and low-density quadrats in the Black Hills, South Dakota. A failure to account for imperfect detection, leading to underestimation of marten presence was observed.
