'Reverse genetics' could offer forward-thinking flu vaccine
Article Abstract:
An early outburst in flu generally treated by the influenza vaccine, caused health authorities to modernize the vaccine production. Two problems with the widely used inactivated vaccine, namely, the strain in the three vaccine exclude the season's predominant strain and parts of the US have run short of the inactivated vaccine, were cited.

Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) first arose in China in November 2002 and was identified in March 2003. A report on the virus similar to that responsible for SARS infected in Hong Kong is presented.
