Spreading of nanofluids on solids
Article Abstract:
The video microscopy is used to demonstrate both the two dimensional crystal-like ordering of charged nanometer-sized polystyrene spheres in water, and the enhanced spreading dynamics of a micellar fluid, at the three phase contact region. The findings of this demonstration suggest a new mechanism for oily soil removal-detergency.

Geological record of fluid flow and seismogenesis along an erosive subducting plate boundary
Article Abstract:
Several geological processes are employed to explain the phenomenon involved in the fluid flow and seismogenesis along an erosive subducting plate boundary. The seismic activity is found to occur at higher temperatures in the modern subduction zones, as compared to the fossil channels.

Spread word about nanofluids
Article Abstract:
When some nanoparticles are present in a liquid the wetting behavior of the liquid changes. Some of the findings of Wasan and Nikolov on this behavior are discussed.
