Tanzania's tragic trade

An investigation undertaken by the British Union for the Abolition of Vivisection (BUAV) has found that wild-caught baboons are being kept in terrible conditions in Tanzania before being sent to research laboratories in other countries. BUAV is now campaigning for the abolition of the capture and export of baboons from Tanzania for research.

Investigations by the Humane Society revealed a horrifying fur business in Asia. Investigators found that coats and other products sold around the world are made from domestic dog and cat furs coming from Asia. These animals are skinned while still alive.
