Testing predictions of the prey of lion derived from modeled prey preferences
Article Abstract:
A study to predict the diet of lions in situations of varying predator and prey abundances from sites that were not used in the initial prey preferences, carried out using preference indices calculated for all recorded lion prey species is illustrated. There was a highly significant linear relation between the numbers of lion kills predicted to occur at a site.

Mammalian visitation to candidate feral swine attractants
Article Abstract:
Promising attractants are identified from a suite of candidate feral swine (Sus scrofa) attractants. Studies have recommended strawberry attractants for feral swine-specific applications, as feral swine have greater visitation rates to apple and strawberry stations than to control stations.

Canopy closure, competition, and the endangered dusky gopher frog
Article Abstract:
Two experiments, to help understand whether canopy closure and competition contributed to the decline of the endangered dusky gopher frog, were conducted. Results concluded that pond canopy closure contributed to the decline and not larva competition.
