The DNA sequence and comparative analysis of human chromosome 5
Article Abstract:
A detailed analysis of a single base of chromosome 5 shows that finished human sequence contributes to gene annotation and how multi-mammalian sequence comparisons lead to the sequence- based identification of non-coding elements possessing gene regulatory activities. Finished sequence of chromosome 5 and its analysis alone and in comparison with orthologous regions in other vertebrate genomes provides a chromosome-wide catalogue of genes and evolutionarily conserved non-coding sequences.

The sequence and analysis of duplication-rich human chromosome 16
Article Abstract:
Human chromosome 16 features one of the highest levels of segmentally duplicated sequence among the human autosomes. The finished human chromosome 16 sequence, which provides a reference for the exploration of genomic sequence alterations and their relationship to human biology is described.

The DNA sequence and biology of human chromosome 19
Article Abstract:
The highest of all gene densities recorded by a human chromosome is that of chromosome 19. Highly accurate finished sequences of 55.8 million base pairs that represents 99.9% of the euchromatin portion, are described.
