The distribution of integumentary structures in a feathered dinosaur
Article Abstract:
The almost complete, articulated skeleton of a non-avian theropod dinosaur which was found at the Yixian Formation at Lingyuan, China, is described. Most of the skeleton is covered with feather-like structures, indicating that the origin of feathers was not linked to the origin of avian flight.

Earliest known crown-group salamanders
Article Abstract:
The discovery of well-preserved middle Jurassic salamanders from China, which constitutes the earliest known record of crown-group urodeles, is reported. This discovery provides evidence to support the hypothesis that the divergence of the Cryptobranchide from the Hynobiidae had taken place in Asia before the middle Jurassic period.
