The effects of breeder loss on wolves
Article Abstract:
The impact of breeder loss on wolves' survival, reproduction and territorial social groups is examined. To minimize negative impacts, the managers of recolonizing wolf populations should limit lethal control to solitary individuals or territorial pairs where possible, as the selective removal of pack members can become very difficult.

Red fox removal and roe deer fawn survival - A 14-year study
Article Abstract:
The impact of red fox predation on free-ranging roe deer neonates during 14 years in a mixed forest/agricultural landscape in south central Sweden was studied. The findings suggested that in Sweden, generally, a thorough fox control would most likely result in increased fawn survival and higher potential roe deer harvest.
