Dominica, an isolated island near the center of Lesser Antilles is home to a number of species endemic to the place such as the imperial parrot. The government established forest reserves to protect the parrots and preserve Dominica's beauty. The island does not have white sandy beaches but is rich with other natural attractions, that is why it is promoted as the Nature Island.

Wings over the sea: a blizzard of birds in Newfoundland
Article Abstract:
Issues concerning the sea bird populations of Cape St. Mary's and Witless Bay Ecological Reserves in Newfoundland's Avalon Peninsula, are examined. Topics include the breeding patterns of the gannets, the two million sea birds who arrive in the area during the summer, and the effect of human visitors and oceanic pollution on the sea birds.
