Untethered satellite still produced data
Article Abstract:
The Italian Space Agency (ASI) is facing another bad publicity as a result of a satellite disconnection from the space shuttle during a space mission. The fiasco happened at the most inopportune time when the agency is on the process of rebuilding its image as a result of a lackluster performance. The agency, nevertheless, is taking refuge in the fact that the mission was able to realize one of its objectives which is to record the generation of current along the 20-km conductive tether.
