Upper Palaeolithic infant burials
Article Abstract:
The decorations found on the bodies of the newborns from the Stone Age (Upper Palaeolithic period) have indicated that they were considered to be full members of these hunter-gatherer communities. The well-preserved fossils of extremely young individuals of this period will provide important evidence to the study of the ontogeny of early modern humans.

Jewish inspiration of Christian catacombs
Article Abstract:
A radiocarbon dating is used to determine the age of wood originating from one of the Jewish catacombs and find that it pre-dates its Christian counterparts by at least 100 years. The results revealed that burial in Roman catacombs might not have begun as a strictly Christian practice, but rather that its origin might lie in Jewish funerary customs.
