Indianapolis, IN is the likely venue for the return of the US Grand Prix in 1999 which also marks the return of Formula 1 in the country. Tony George, who spearheaded the idea, argued that Formula 1 spent its growing years in the area and had constant connections with it.

A visit to the 1994 RAC Rally in the UK is described. The automobile rally, which was held in the village of Woodland and began at 7:00 AM every day, was eventually won by the Subaru team, led by driver Colin McRae, the first driver from the UK to win since 1976.
