Environmental accounting - a growing concern
Article Abstract:
The results of a 1996 study indicate that, in Australian firms, accountants' involvement in environmental management is minimal. That is in part because the financial aspects of environmental management have yet to be completely incorporated into corporate reporting. It can be argued, however, that accounting's role in environmental management should be significant.
