A vicious cycle: RNA silencing and DNA methylation in plants
Article Abstract:
This review examines DNA methylation in plants and its bearing on the plant RNA silencing. Data suggest that a RNA-directed DNA methylation is operating in plants via plant transgene RNA silencing systems. Implication of DNA methylation as a defence against RNA viruses is discussed.

Systems biology: Its practice and challenges
Article Abstract:
One must capture and integrate global sets of biological data from as many hierarchical levels of information as possible to practice systems biology. Regarding this, some technical challenges for systems biology are presented including data quality and standardization.

How do you see CG?
Article Abstract:
This review addresses a specialized immune mechanism operating in mammalian systems in which the unmethylated CG motifs in the DNA activate macrophages, dendritic cells, and B lymphocytes leading to the stimulation of defence mechanism.
