Agrobacterium tumefaciens-mediated transformation of Aspergillus fumigatus: An efficient tool for insertional mutagenesis and targeted gene disruption
Article Abstract:
Transformation of Aspergillus fumigatus as a tool for insertional mutagenesis as well as for gene disruption is reported. The results suggested that Agrobacterium tumefaciens-mediate transformation (ATMT) is an efficient tool for transformation, random insertional mutagenesis, and gene disruption in Aspergillus fumigatus.

Greater diversity of Shiga toxin-encoding bacteriophage insertion sites among Escherichia coli O157:H7 isolates from cattle than in those from humans
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to characterize the bacteriophage insertion site genotype of Escherichia coli O157:H7 isolates from cattle and from humans and found increased genotype diversity among bovine isolates and differential representation of genotypes in these host species.
