Artificial selection shifts flowering phenology and other correlated traits in an autotetraploid herb
Article Abstract:
The various impacts of anthropogenic climate change on the flowering phenologies and other related behaviors in an autotetraploid herb are examined. Findings show that phenological shifts may be associated with reduced plant fitness possibly hindering evolutionary changes, although flowering time shows the potential to adapt to a changing climate.

Genetic load in subdivided populations: Interactions between the migration rate, the size and the number of subpopulations
Article Abstract:
The relative importance of migration rate, size and number of subpopulations on the genetic load of subdivided populations is assessed. The results suggest that fitness increases with subpopulation size, so that for the same total population size, genetic load is relatively lower when there are a small number of large subpopulations.

Additive and nonadditive genetic variation in avian personality traits
Article Abstract:
A quantitative genetic analysis of two personality traits and its combinations were examined. It was reported that individuals within populations differ consistently in the way in which they react to stressful challenges.
