Assessment of the ratio of pollen to seed flow in a cline for genetic variation in a quantitative trait
Article Abstract:
A study to assess the ratio of pollen to seed flow in shaping lines relative to different genetic statistics has been carried out. Under weak selection, steady-state departures from the value at Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium for genotype frequence and additive variance usually show a high value around the point, a moderate value on the other side of the boundary point, and a small value on one side of the selection boundary point.

Reproductive processes in two oak (Quercus) contact zones with different levels of hybridization
Article Abstract:
Reproductive processes in two oak contact zones with different levels of hybridization have been studied using a full diallel cross using four trees of each species. The hypothesis proposed posits that environmental stress can raise the probability of hybrid formation by lowering competitive ability of male gametes of one species.

On migration load of seeds and pollen grains in a local population
Article Abstract:
Research has been conducted on harmaphrodite plants with a variation at a single locus with two alleles. The authors describe the use of Wright's model of migration load attributable to seed and pollen flow in investigating these plants.
