Catch-up growth or regression to the mean? Recovery from stunting revisited
Article Abstract:
The relationship between stunting and later catch-up growth in the context of regression to the mean as a statistical phenomenon is re-examined. The design is a theoretical analysis showing that catch-up growth is more evident based on height z scores than on height, validated using data stunted and later South African.

Tradeoffs between oxygen and energy in tibial growth at high altitude
Article Abstract:
A study on high altitude population argues that stature reduction results from caloric instead of hypoxic stress. Results show that size in high altitude populations stems from nutritional stress.
