Cytoplasmic variation
Article Abstract:
The study of male sterility inheritance in the gynodioecious species plantago coronoput reveals that the inheritance is associated with a cytoplasmic variation occurring in these plants. The study was performed on five plants and the offsprings of these plants. The cytoplasmic constituents of the plants were analyzed to determine the sterility inheritance feature observed in the male plants.

Nuclear genetic variation
Article Abstract:
The complete array of possible phenotypes associated with the male sterility inheritance in Plantago coronopus are obtained from analysis of genetic information about the cross breed of the plants within an area of 50 square kilometers. The phenotypes indicate the involvement of multiple interacting nuclear genes. The genes have dominant and recessive restorer allele action.

Among-environment heteroscedasticity and genetic autocorrelation: implications for the study of phenotypic plasticity
Article Abstract:
The influence of genetic autocorrelation and among environment heteroscedasticity on the phenotypic plasticity is analyzed. The occurrence of genotypic variance in differing environments results in the among-environment heteroscedasticity. The responses of a genotype to varying environment results in the occurrence of a genetic autocorrelation.
