A role for TFIIIC transcription factor complex in genome organization
Article Abstract:
Inverted repeat (IR) boundary elements lying the fission yeast mating-type heterochromatin domain contain B-box sequences that prevent heterochromatin from spreading into neighboring euchromatic regions by recruiting transcription factor TFIIIC complex without RNA polymerase III. An analysis conducted brings out a general genome organization mechanism involving conserved TFIIIC complex.

Cdk 1-dependent regulation of the mitotic inhibitor Wee1
Article Abstract:
The direct regulation of the budding-yeast homolog of Wee1, Swe1, by cyclin-dependent kinase 1 (Cdk1) is discussed. The regulation of Swe1-Cdk1 complex plays an important role in controlling the transition into mitosis.
