Kruppel acts as a gap gene regulating expression of hunchback and even-skipped in the intermediate germ cricket Gryllus bimaculatus
Article Abstract:
Using Gryllus bimaculatus embryos, the role of gap gene, Kruppel, in the the segmentation process of short and intermediate germ insects, is analyzed. Kruppel codes transcriptional factors which regulate gene expressions.
