Morphogen gradient interpretation by a regulated trafficking step during ligand-receptor transduction
Article Abstract:
The precise sensing of morphogen concentrates by cells is crucial for correct cell fate patterning in embryonic development. The experiments conclude that basis for memory is the long-lasting residence of a signaling complex in the endo-lysosomal pathway and the regulated duration of this step helps to determine the choice of gene expression resulting from gradient interpretation.

Gas1 extends the range of Hedgehog action by facilitating its signaling
Article Abstract:
The signaling of morphogen- Hedgehog is essential for the process of development in mammals. The Growth Arrest-specific Gene 1(GAS1) facilitates the binding of Hedgehog with Patched 1 and increases the signaling activity.

Autophagy: process and function
Article Abstract:
Autophagy is an intracellular degradation system of the lysosome and also plays a variety of physiological and pathophysiological roles. The process and role of autophagy is discussed in a process-based manner.
