No detectable genetic correlation between male and female mating frequency in the stalk-eyed fly Cyrtodiopsis dalmanni
Article Abstract:
The hypothesis that the high frequency of female multiple mating in Cyrtodiopsis dalmanni results from a genetic correlation for mating frequency between the sexes is tested in stalk-eyed flies. The study showed there was no evidence for a genetic correlation between male and female mating frequency.

No sex please we're at QLE (quasi-linkage equilibrium)
Article Abstract:
Models of the Red Queen have supported Bill Hamilton's view that sex and recombination serve to protect hosts from coevolving parasites. A quasi-linkage equilibrium approach was adapted for analysis of the model.

Sexually selected mutation rates
Article Abstract:
The article argues that it is unclear whether sexual selection causes increase in mutation rates or greater levels of genetic variation generates stronger sexual selection.
