Nongenotropic, sex-nonspecific signaling through the estrogen or androgen receptors: dissociation from transcriptional activity
Article Abstract:
Research has been conducted on the classical receptors and their transcriptional activity. The effect of sex steroids on the osteoblasts, osteocytes, embrionic fibroblasts and HeLa cells which involve Src/Shc/ERK signaling pathway and attenuating apoptosis activation has been investigated and the results are reported.

MTA3, a Mi-2/NuRD complex subunit, regulates an invasive growth pathway in breast cancer
Article Abstract:
Research has been conducted on human MTA3 product. The authors demonstrate that this product is an estrogen-dependent component of Mi-2/NuRD transcriptional corepressor in breast epithelial cells, and report that MTA3 is a key component of estrogen-dependent pathway which regulates differentiation and growth.

Homeodomain interacting protein kinase 2 promotes apoptosis by downregulating the transcriptional corepressor CtBP
Article Abstract:
Research has been conducted on transcriptional corepressor CtBP. The hypothesis that propensity toward apoptosis can be regulated via changes in cellular CtBP has been tested, and the pathways which are involved in this regulation have been investigated.
