A murine model of Holt-Oram syndrome defines roles of the T-box transcription factor Tbx5 in cardiogenesis and disease
Article Abstract:
Research has been conducted on the T-box proteins. The role of these proteins in cardiac development and the consequences of the TBX5 mutations have been investigated via the engineered mice containing a deletion in Tbx5 alleles and the results are discussed.
