Phages and the evolution of bacterial pathogens
Article Abstract:
The phages and evolution of bacterial pathogens are detailed. The phages contribute to the diversification of the bacterial genome architecture and represent a large fraction of the strain-specific DNA sequences, and they serve as anchoring points for genome inversions.
