Population genetics of sporophytic self-incompatibility in Senecio squadilus L. (Asteraceae) II: a spatial autocorrelation approach to determining mating behavior in the presence of low S allele diversity
Article Abstract:
Research has been conducted on Senecio squadilus L. (Asteraceae) II. The authors have investigated the local population substructure of Senecio squadilus's genetic diversity in order to understand its sporophytic self-incompatibility mating system.

Introgression of crown rust (Puccinia coronata) resistance from meadow fescue (Festuca pratensis) into Italian ryegrass (Lolium multiflorum) and physical mapping of the locus
Article Abstract:
Research has been conducted on meadow fescue resistance to crown rust which originated from ryegrass. The hypothesis that the resistance is controlled by a single gene or closely linked genes has been tested, and the results are presented.
