Regulation of murine telomere length by Rtel: an essential gene encoding a helicase-like protein
Article Abstract:
The possible role of the murine regulator of telomere length (Rtel) gene in telomere length regulation is examined by disrupting its expression in vitro and in vivo. Regulator of telomere length (Rtel) is an essential gene regulating telomere length and prevents genetic instability.

Par-4 links dopamine signaling and depression
Article Abstract:
Study is conducted to identify Prostrate apoptosis response 4 (Par-4) as a regulatory component in dopamine signaling. The study provides evidence that Par-4 constitutes a molecular link between impaired dopamine signaling and depression.

Yin Yang 1 is a negative regulator of p53
Article Abstract:
The p53 accumulation is a result of Yin Yang 1 (YY1) ablation due to the reduction of p53 ubiquitination in vivo. Yin Yang 1(YY) is a potential cofactor for human double minute 2 (Hdm2) protein in the regulation of p53 homeostasis.
