Oncogenic HMGA2: Short or small?
Article Abstract:
Analysis of High Mobility Group A (HMGA) family of proteins reveal that these oncogenic proteins are architectural transcription factors binding the DNA and cause several structural alterations in chromatin. The studies report HMGA2 to be an easy target of the let-7 family of the microRNAs (miRNAs) and their conjugation can also be employed in the regulation of the cancer-related genes for the cancer therapy.

Mcm10 and And-1/CTF4 recruit DNA polymerase [alpha] to chromatim for initiation of DNA replication
Article Abstract:
Chromosome transmission fidelity (And-1/Ctf4) interacts with Mcm10 and brings together MCM2-7 helicase with DNA polymerase alpha. This initiates DNA replication.
