BH3-only proteins--essential initiators of apoptotic cell death
Article Abstract:
This review discusses the role of Bcl-2 family BH3 proteins that have only one of the Bcl-2 homology regions, in the programmed cell death. Data show that BH3 proteins initiate, regulate, and activate cell death machinery in the apoptotic processes of mammalian cells.

Translocation and reversible localization of signaling proteins: a dynamic future for signal transduction
Article Abstract:
The dynamic mechanism of cellular signal trasduction and the role translocation process in the regulation of signaling proteins in space and time is reviewed. Research reveals that the process involves phosphorylation, GDP-GTP exchange, conformational changes, and other signaling mechanisms coupled with a change in the localization site during the diffusion of the signaling proteins.

Switch-of-function mutants based on morphology classification of Ras superfamily small GTPases
Article Abstract:
Research has been conducted on small human GTPases. Results demonstrate that the expression of these GTPases can induce cell morphologies which fell into several distinct classes.
